Hi friends! It is December now, a month that worth celebrating our achievement and at the same time be thankful on the good lessons that we have walked through this year! We will also work harder next year for things that we have under-achieved.
There are two important events next months that I wish to highlight to our supporters. Straits Chinese Antique Auction is coming back in January 27, 2019, after our successful event last June in the national iconic heritage, Carcosa Seri Negara. This time the theme is called, Inheritance of Peranakan Culture. Promoting Straits Chinese wares alone are just not good enough to promote the Peranakan Culture, we must share more about its history, how it came along, its beautiful kebaya, its wedding tradition, etc. Other than auction, there will be exhibition sale as well. We would like to promote this event to a wider audience than usual, do give us more idea if you have.
Another significant event is the consignment day for the End March Kickstart 2019 Spring Antique Auction. The consignment day falls on 19 and 20 January 2019, and Sin Chew Media is the official media of this remarkable event. It is so remarkable that we are inviting the renown China Jingdezheng ceramic porcelain specialists to guard on our antique consignment process. You may not realize but true that this upcoming auction is probably the Malaysia’s first ever international Chinese antique auction, and it is brought to you none other than MNP, a leading asset auctioneer in Malaysia. This consignment event is consider part of MNP’s corporate social responsibility effort as our specialists will be sharing their authentication expertise to the interested public, follow by receiving public enquiry to consign their authenticated and qualified item to MNP’s March antique auction.
Another good news! With the support of MNP technical consultant, Wang Hou Antique & Heritage Association, we will be exhibiting valuable and rare Chinese antique that you can only see in the word-class auction, some of the antique ware are coming from the world’s top auction houses like Christie’s and sotheby’s.
Bidding in auction to secure valuable collectible is fast becoming the next great thing to preserve asset value, besides the traditional real estate and gold investment. MNP’s mission is to promote asset investment through enhancing asset value. We will continue to create value to our supporters.
