Dear friends! I am excited to post my first message of year 2019. After passing 2018, we are soon heading toward Chinese New Year! However, our journey will not be easy until then as we have two (2) major events coming up.
As I had shared in my last message, we will be having our Spring Asian Antique Auction Consignment Day on 19 and 20 January and Straits Chinese Antique Auction from 25 to 27 January. We have on 4 January called for a press conference with support from Sin Chew Media, the largest Chinese media in Malaysia to launch the awareness program of the Spring Asian Antique Consignment event. This is truly a great milestone as our company is jumping from the local scene to the world’s stage! We believe we are the first auction company in Malaysia to organize such a big scale antique consignment event.
More encouragingly, we have relaunched our much awaited revamped company website : https://mnp.com.my on 2 January 2019. We have enhanced our contents with regular update of our upcoming event and news. Interested parties can send us the detail of their valuable item to assess for potential auction opportunity (https://mnp.com.my/consign-now). We are still adding contents and functions to make it better continuously.
As for our upcoming Straits Chinese Antique Auction : Inheritance of Peranakan Culture, there will be many excitements to be announced in the next few days. To name a few, the auction catalogue is specially designed as a limited collection edition. There will also be a special coffee talk by a renowned master collector about the beauty and tips of collecting Straits Chinese antique.
