17 Mar CEO MESSAGE – MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER FROM 18-31 MARCH 2020
Dear Valued Customers,
The Malaysia Government has imposed a restricted movement order nationwide from 18 to 31 March as part of the nation’s serious measure to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. The health and well-being of our customers and our team remain our highest priority. We would like to announce that our KUALA LUMPUR and PENANG offices will be temporarily closed from 18th March (Wednesday) until 31st March 2020 (Tuesday). Please be assured that MNP follows stringent protocols for safety and hygiene.
While we are physically not visible, our spirit will always be there for you. As such, our business operation is operating as usual through telephone, email, messages and any other mode of online contact.

The restricted movement order means that we will not be able to carry out any event or auction event that involves public gathering. It is a difficult decision but MNP is currently working through a restructuring of its forthcoming auctions, as follow:

MNP will continue to monitor all developments related to COVID-19 virus outbreak, including adherence to the recommendation from the Malaysia Government and World Health Organization. We continue to assess the situation daily and make appropriate arrangement toward our auction event and will inform our clients as soon as possible.
For clients that prefer to participate remotely in our auction event, MNP offers online and mobile browsing and remote bidding by phone, online and proxy bid with support from best2bid.com. We will be launching several online auction events soon and will keep our clients posted. Our team is in place to advise any client who has questions about sale items and to help arrange for remote viewing and/or bidding.
We would like to advise our clients to diligently practise good hygiene habits and stay safe always. It may be a difficult time for everyone including our group. Nevertheless, we believe that every crisis will come and go and we will gain valuable lesson and experience to brace toward a better future.
